| The Horsedrawn Camp were invited by The Hopwood Women's Institute to do a talk on their way of life. Gordon Dipple made a brief introduction, then Pete Delaney explained how he became a horse drawn traveller. After Pete played a couple of songs with his guitar, there was an interesting question and answer session. THC would like to thank all those that attended for their hospitality and accepting us with open hearts and minds . . . |

Monday, August 01, 2011, Gary Banford, was killed in a terrible motor vehicle accident in Trelawny, Jamacia. "Gary D.S. What a loss to our culture. What Gaz did for the site/squatters/festival/live music scene will never be forgotten. His legacies and innovations live on in his music. He more than played at most of The Horsedrawn Camp festivals as Crowzone and Dead Silence, always helpful, always willing, always ”rockin”. Thanks Gary." Pete Delaney – The Horsedrawn Camp. |

Pete bedding down for the night beneath a tarpaulin stretched across the shafts of what is left of the dray, in his typical philosophical manner said “We will have to just ceremoniously burn the old bow top this weekend and build another one” |
